| Itinerary: |
|
Day 1: hike up the Lineham Creek trail (one or two
modest stream crossing, which perhaps can be avoided) to
camp in the high valley at the N end of the Lineham Peaks
(see Nugara's account of the approach to these peaks in
his book 'More Scrambles') -- about 2300' elevation gain
over 7 km.
Day 2: scramble up, over, and around the Dogtooth Peaks
to the E (about 4 of them); then turn N and climb up and
over Pyriform Mt; camp (camps are the X's on the maps)
on the col N of Pyriform -- about 3000' over 6 km.
Day 3: scramble over the summits between Pyriform and
Junction to the N; then descend the long N ridge of
Junction to the Sheep River (or alternatively descend to the
Junction Crk trail, if feasible); then NW to the Indian Oils
bridge (where I will have placed a vehicle on the 22nd) --
about 2000' over 13-14 km.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
