Itinerary:
We'll meet at Assumption School and carpool from there. The drive takes a little over 2 hours, so we should get there just after 0900. The trailhead is at West Louise Logde, across Hwy1 from Wapta Lake. We'll ski in to Sherbrooke Lake and take a look around. It would be nice to ski some slopes -- get some turns in -- near the lake, possibly below Paget Peak. As this is the first ski trip for many of us this season, we'll stick to Class 1 terrain and likely spend time with our gear.
Required Items to Bring:
Transceiver, shovel, probe, lunch, hot drink, warm gear, skis, boots, poles ... all the necessary gear you need for a good ski day.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Camera, cookies for the trip leaders, jokes, stories, sense of humour.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   West from Calgary, past Lake Louise, just west of the turn-off to Lake O'Hara. Park at the hotel (West Louise Lodge) on the north side of the highway, opposite Wapta Lake.
Carpool Departure Time:   07:00 AM
Carpool Location:   Our Lady of Assumption School; 0700
Carpool Directions:   Sarcee at 16th Ave NW near the Sunnyside Garden Centre.

Notes:
We'll be leaving the school at 0700. Please plan to be there 15 minutes early to sign waivers and check gear.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
