Itinerary:
Kane's "Scrambles", page 156, start in King Creek Canyon and hike up the north creek. Easy or moderate? Who knows! Five km or ten? Who knows? The trip leader has not done this route, so I only assume we'll get somewhere. But on the mountain, our route and destination will be decided by group consensus.
Required Items to Bring:
Helmet and boots. Lunch and water. Sun-block and bug-spray. Dress for the weather.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Trail head is at the King Creek Day Use parking lot on Highway 40.
Carpool Departure Time:   08:00 AM
Carpool Location:   Westhills Safeway
Carpool Directions:   Westhills Towne Centre, west side of Sarcee Trail and Richmond Road SW, park near the Safeway store. We will leave at 8:00 am Sunday.

Notes:
Haven't been there before, but I saw a picture somewhere. Just the same, I intend to keep an "easy, relaxed" pace on this route. The scenery is too pretty to rush anywhere.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
