Itinerary:
We will meet at the carpool parking lot(Recycling Bins past COP)at 9:00 am. We will then drive to the Takakkaw Falls Trailhead parking lot (~3hrs). Hike to the Stanley Mitchell hut (~3hrs) where we'll spend the night. We'll aim for an alpine start about 4:00am, climb the glacier to President Pass; climb President; climb Vice-President and descend the way we came. Expect 8 - 12hrs for the climb. Drive back to Calgary late Sunday.
Required Items to Bring:
crampons,ice axe,helmet,glacier gear,a couple of ice screws and/or snow-stake,proper clothing,food water,head lamp,prussik cords,sunglasses

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Take the Trans-Canada Highway to about 4km east of Field. Take the right turn (north) at Kicking Horse campground; drive ~13km to the parking lot at the end of the road.

Notes:
Please advise if you have attempted these peaks before. Please also advise if you are prepared to lead a rope team.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
